I am very pleased to officially welcome the Honda Crossrunner to VFRworld! I know there has been a lot of debate on whether this new bike is truly a VFR or not, and I'm sure that debate will continue, but it has the VFR800 motor, and that's enough for me! So as of today, owners of the Honda Crossrunner are officially welcome with open arms at VFRworld, and we look forward to photos and experiences with the new VFR. Welcome to the family!

I would suggest everyone pick up a copy of the upcoming September 2010 issue of RoadBike Magazine. In addition to having two awesome articles about the VFR1200F (Raising the Bar - Honda Redefines Sport-Touring), there is also a full article about VFRworld on page 28! There is even a shot out to Reggie's Roadhouse Roundup.

The September issue goes on sale July 27th, and for those of you loyal VFRworld fans, it's sure to be a collector's item. First Reg's exclusive invitation from Honda, and now this - we are becoming (in)famous!

A regular guy's take on this new bike...

The new VFR1200 is a bike like any other bike…or is it? The forums around here (and elsewhere on the net) have been abuzz for quite some time now about this new bike from Big Red. Is it a SPORT-tourer, is it a sport-TOURER, is it something else? What’s it aimed at? Who is the projected market? What’s with the gas tank? What the hell is DCT?

Well, yours truly, one Reg71, was invited to a “press” type event to see if I can get some answers to these questions. Apparently the word is out, and I am quite famous. I won’t even get into the amount of time I spent signing autographs.
