I just mounted the RKA bag to my 99 VFR

Opening the fairing bits allowed access to the ignition coils of all things. The straps wrapped around without difficulty and hold the bag much better than when wrapped around the frame neck.

Hmmmm. Bags attached to the coils gives me a bad feeling. But the mounts seemed quite good for the application.
