I know that on my 6th gen when I removed it I found out that one of the bolts has reverse threads on it and ended up snapping the head of the bolt off trying to remove it (I was actually tightening it and didn't know it). So when you do yours be cautious of one of the bolts possibly being a reverse thread bolt so you don't do what I did and have to get a special set of extractor bits for it. Just a heads up.
