    2nd Gen 700/750 parts available

    Hey guys,
A friend of mine has a cycle repair shop / junk yard and has two 86 or 87 700/750 available. One of the bikes was running when it was parked in his junkyard (covered), the other has a locked up engine.
The good bike has a great seat, gauges, no plastics (except for a good rear quarter and a cracked headlight cowl), all the electronics looks good, as well as wheels, brakes, etc. Tank on the one bike has a big dent in the top right.
The other bike (not running) would just be for parts only. No seat, no tank.
Both bikes have Yosh pipes. (I think 4 into 1)
It was fairly dark in the basement so I couldn't go over everything.
(I was hoping for a 8-spoke wheel hidden in there somewhere! No luck)

He will set prices for the parts if you let me know what you want. He's a good guy and will help out if you need stuff.

Let me know what you need. I hate to see them rotting away unused!

I'm also interested in the pipes. Please send a pic my way . Also if you can tell what the condition the carbs are in it wouldn't hurt me to have a spare on hand.

    Okay guys,
Robert has finally gotten around to dragging the 2 old bikes out of storage and is ready to start selling parts! I don't know what he'll ask for anything, but it's worth a phone call.
You can reach him at 770-528-0940. His name is Robert and the bike shop is J-n-R cycles.
    Good luck with your parts.

I called that guy 2 months ago and asked for pics of the yosh pipes. All I got was the run around. I called him 3 times and reminded him to send me pics. NOTHING! He had an add posted on Craigs list for his business and I spotted one of the VFRs. So I called right away.I still have his number and a copy of the add.

are you looking for the left inner panel the one between the tank and upper? I've got a brand new one OEM Honda for an 87 700 F2. $30 shipped

due to differences in gauges 86 and 87 are not interchangeable for this piece.

There is a slight difference, my bad. It will fit up no prob but the contour around the gauges is different. F vs. F2. Let me know if you still want it dukiedook.

yeah, the contour around the outside edge is slightly different as well but with a little creative hot knifing it could work.

I took the time to mount the F2 panel on my 86 750, no hot knifing needed. There's an 86 700 on e bay right now with F2 panels on it as well.
