Hi Midias, do you still have that road test PDF for the gen 2?
I am looking at buying one and would like to do some study on them. any pertinent pointers on gen 2 ownership as well would be appreciated. kind regards RT

thank you so much for doing that, i have downloaded the files off mediafile and am looking forward to reading them.
the cycle guide cover was a 'blast from the past' and that yamaha on the front is the oddest bike ive seen in some time. but I did used to buy cycle guide and i do remember that they used to chrome plate their BOTY every year, which i thought was both amazing and ridiculous. i thought that the chromed Gen 1 was such a waste of a great bike! other notable winners from the early eighties were the BMW K1200RS and CBR 600(the first version) that i remember. cycle guide was one of my favourite reads ! thanks again,hope i can return the favour one day.
