wait for fan?

do you guys/girls leave the ignition on after a ride until the fan stops? my first bike...still learning.

If you mean ignition on but engine off, no I don't do that. It seems that would just drain the battery since there really isn't much coolant circulation without the water pump turning.

You could do some thing like a turbo timer.

But all I thing you would gain is cooling the fluids in the radiator (location of the thermostat since it does not circulate when the motor is not running.
