Can someone point me in a direction for luggage for my 99VFR. The only problem being, is that I have a high side mount exhaust and it may be in the way of the bags. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I think the best way to go would be to get another low mount pipe. It opens up far more choices. The single only reason I got low mount on all 3 VFR pipes I've used is because I eventually want to get Give E360's on the Tubular SideCase Holder.

If a high mount pipe is something you simply can't live without, get another muffler & swap back & forth. It takes me less than 90 seconds to remove the muffler from my bike.

The Venture system is a nice option as well. Products : Soft Motorcycle Touring Luggage, Hard Motorcycle Touring Luggage
BMW K1200S bags fit. Look at my photo gallery. I believe they will clear a high pipe just fine.
....I feel like a broken record.
+1 to the Ventura Pack system. Best softside approach out there.

Life wasn't meant to be anything. But there is nothing wrong with trying to enjoy it.
2001 VFR800; Pro shift shift kit; Braking wave rotors; Corbin seat; Double bubble screen; K&N filter; de-snorkeled; Vista cruise throttle lock; modified throttle return spring; Stomp grip; dead tires; front end wobble.
Over on VFRD.com there's a couple stock systems for 5th gens...shipping only. Of course the other option is to just send that high mount to me for safekeeping!
Mods: PC3, Two Bros, K&N, +2 Rear Sprocket, Deflappered, Desnorkeled, NGK Iridiums, Peak Global Coolant, Voltmeter, Fenderectomy, Rear Marker Light Conversion, 65W Headlamps, Rich's Custom Seat, Black Body Bolts, Polished Wheels, Harris VFR Grips, VFR Branded Master Cyl. Givi is the only way to go. I have a new wing rack $125 and a e360 $130 bag with a few scratches that can get you started. You will need the mount kit for your bike that run about $95.00
