new to me 06' viffer, annnnd i LIKE it

    hey,
well i got a 2006 white vfr last week. got it registered this last friday and didn't get off it all weekend.

i paid $7141 for it. it had 2400 miles on it, with a 2 bros exhaust and a fender delete.

the tires had some good chicken strips on them so the first owner never rode it hard. it has the d204's on it.

bike was ultra clean, like new. so im happy with the price i paid.

the V4 is quite an animal, lota engine drag when ur off the throttle, which i like.
the VTEC is like an afterburner switch, still getting use to it, but i like it.

i think i might have to do a heli bar mod next year cuz im getten old and lazy.

the only thing im looking for is the passenger grab rails.
any body wanna sell theirs? haha. it didn't come with any.

so the only question i have right now is, with the stock d204's, how cold can it get before i have to worry about hard tires.
im in NH and its about 55 ish when i leave for work in the morning.

Congrats! I just picked up my 2007 a few weeks ago. Luckily I'm in GA but lived in Lebanon, NH for about 5 yrs and I know how short the riding season is up there. Nice choice, be safe, and have fun.

    Congrats and welcome..
I'm somewhat of a new guy here too.. 06' pearl white for me..
Being in WI and a second shifter. (55* at nite) I ride til it snows. I get a bit of a "greasy" feel til the tires warm up.. Never feels unstable or unsafe.
Jus take yo time til you up to temp. ENJOY!!!!
