Ok just bought my 07 6 weeks ago currently 1900 miles
what all do i have to change when i change the cans?
1. i was told get a PCiii usb (300.00)
2. get a motad pipes (500.00)
3. or gut out the cat (100.00)
4. O2 plugs (18.00 x2)
5. Staintune exhaust (999.00)
Total with little over w/tax($2000.00)ouch
The real question is: This PCiii what does it do? i have programmer's for my truck and they were tuned at a dyno shop and made pre-set. is this the same way (pre-programed or i needs programming for a pre-set)
will get custom pait job in (Crush Candy Red)

PC III will smooth out your throttle (Lean)
O2 Eliminator you can make your own for $1
Staintune is a good choice, There are other can like Leo ans 2 bro, they are good as well. Hope this help I am sure other members will chimp in for more advises. Welcome to the forum ride safe.
how do i make the O2's for 1 dollar? That would be great. please do tell
is the PCiii preprogrammed website does not say much about the product. i just need some one to do i load maps (pre-programs)right. and then where do i get them from?

No, but you may download specific maps for specific exhausts off of Dynojets website. A custom map off a dyno is the best way to go. You may want to consider a PC5 as it does more than the PCIII especially for a V4.
You may have noticed two glaring problems with your 6th gen.
1. some jumpiness at off-idle or parking lot speeds.
2. a sizeable drop in horsepower from roughly 5700rpm all the way to VTEC engagement.
The PCIII or PCV will eliminate the off-idle problem and do a mediocre job with the HP dip. A power commander with a custom map wll completely eliminate both aswell as add a couple HP and some other favorables.

Just wanted to add one thing. Based on your list of priorities I would not do the PCIII untill after you have completed all of your other mods first. The only reason for the 02 elims. is to bypass the bikes CPU. You have to use them with a VFR. You won't need them untill you do your PCIII. Sure you knew all of that but just wanted to make sure.
do you know how to bypass the o2 without spending 20 each?
Search, my friend.

Well i have done all of what i planed the PCiii worked out great.
Yes it did cure the jumpiness off-idle and parking lots plus the gane of boost after 6650 RPMs now.
The O2s for a dollar was great but when i ordered the PCiii (without O2 eleminators) they came with it anyway.
I will be not tell anyone to gut the Cat (the sound is very straight) this is the best thing i can say about the mod (((search for the 98-99 vfr exhaust they fit the same on the 6th Gen
(I have been pricing them and they are at good prices most seen 345.00 cheapest 199.99(but out of stock)) the staintunes are still out of price range i do plan on getting them. (maybe after x-mas)
If I was to tell any new VFR 6th Gen owner what would be the best thing I have done it would be the PCiii.
(I found it for 278.00 w/tax & shipping)
One other think the Snorkel was removed and put back in the differance in HP or Tourque is not much (someone posted the differance (not much)) the sound that comes from removing the snorkel was not something I liked,
I stated in a differant post the sound should be more in the exhaust not the intake on a bike (dont get me wrong i like the intake air sound (ON A TRUCK/CAR)) but to each his/her own. Specs did not lie, I put it back on.
(spend the money on the PCiii you will like the results)
