So is this the new 2010 VFR??? What do you guys think...

Here is some info from Visordown on the possible new VFR a written by french mag...

New Honda VFR by 2010 - Visordown Motorcycle news : General news

Well I'm not a fan of the looks....I like some details stripped from the 1000RR but not all. I do like the idea of the 1000 engine if they can keep it light.

I sure hope it's not. I couldn't find one line, angle or any other styling cue that I liked, not to mention features like a "bar-mounted gear changer and traction control". I don't care how much it weighs, how it handles or if it's 1,000cc's. I would not buy it.

I forgot to mention that hideous muffler that looks strikingly similar to a toaster.

That gas tank looks like it protrudes as much as my belly. I don't like it (meaning the bike).

Ah man... usually we start on the future vfr thing late in the year for the upcoming year... It's not even 09 yet and were started on a 2010 version. I call until I can sit on it.

As I've said probably 400 times now, when I can sit on it, then I'll believe it.

I like it! I doubt it's a sport-touring ride however. By the way, it's all bullshit until we see it on the dealer's showroom!

Problem is, they've already produced bikes that look this bad. That hideous DN-01 monstrosity for one and that funky exhaust is on the CBR1000 already. And what's up with the tail-like plate holder/rear fender on the new bikes? I guess I'm just too old too appreciate the styling............

I am seriously considering stomping the crap out of the next pinhead who starts a "LOOK AT THE NEW VFR" thread.

Or, since I am from NJ, hiring someone with a baseball bat to do it for me.

If you want to start a "This is the new VFR" thread it should start with......
What color do you think Honda will paint the 2010 model VFR? Since its probably the only thing they will change.
    I'M HERE...BECAUSE I'M NOT ALL THERE.

That has got to be one of the most disgusting examples of a motorcycle that I have ever seen!!!!! What has gotten into all the designers??? The new R-1 looks ugly, but it sounds great, I just wished it looked as good as it sounds. The Kawi looks like crap as well. The only bike that I really like now besides the Duc is the.GSXR. Please don't hate me for saying that, but I'm being honest here. Fortunately I haven't finished upgrading or playing with my VFR, so I don't need a new bike.......yet.......

Hmmm...isn't this forum called VFRWorld...doesn't it mean you generate discussion around the VFR....isn't some new information about potential new VFR possibilities really a subject that should discussed in this forum even if it is simply some photochop. Isn't that the purpose of Michael putting all his work into keeping this going and those of us who contributed to help him with that to talk about the VFR and our experiences, motorcycles and such.

If you don't want to participate in the thread, bypass it boys, you don't have to read it. Seriously, if it bothers you that much don't type anything....

Come on guys...you love commenting and providing comments is part of the fun of coming here each day and reading...

So if you want come on over and try to bash my head in be my guest, I'm only across the river in PA....I think since we have the VFR in common we'd probably just end up bullsh!tting about that and possibly even riding....

I agree, however that wouldn't deter me from getting one. If I were to start studying for E-7 and I actually made it, I would get a second bike. I am seriously considering getting a GSXR 750, and setting it up exclusively for track duty.

I had a GSXR 750 as a loaner for a day back when I had my Kraptana 600 in for some work.I would easily have bought one of these if I hadn't stumbled across my VFR.Bike is light, flickable, powerful, and imho quite good lookin'.
