Darn... Guess You guys answered my questions, well almost. I wanted to do the same thing. A friend just gave me a rear tire with only about 700 miles on it, and I wanted to use it to save some $$$ it is a 180/55 ZR17 my 4th gen has a 170/60 ZR17 so what is the main concern to not do it???
