Yeah, I am in the middle of the road on the strip as well....I agree with what professor mello said though. It doesn't look bad by any means....just a personal preference is all.
If you dig....DO IT DUDE!
I'm putting them on my wheels. I've always liked the look. Kind of reminiscent of the 60's muscle car thin red stripe tires.
I'm lanning on it, but the reflective red. The visibility is better, specially at night.

Oh sure, just steal a pic of my bike for comparison ..... where is my lawyer !
Frank - If you've got the coin, get'em and help the freakin' economy out of the hole. If you don't like them, you can peel them off.
My wheels are totally custom - I have the reflective stripes on the inside of the tires! It's the best of both worlds and it doesn't really matter if you don't get them on *perfect*
(think about it Stuka, it'll be funny)

Yes, do it. It really gives the bike another dimension. I added white rim tape to my '07 and it looks much better. As nozzle said, if you don't like it, then you can just simply take it off. Also, it is only a few dollar investment.

I did it on mine!
I like the thinner stripes, personally.
As mentioned above, it's not a big cash outlay and you can easily reverse if you get tired of it.
Everyone gets everything he wants. I wanted a mission, and for my sins, they gave me one.
I think it looks good. I have a 2005 Red bike with Silver rims and I went with the red stripes as well. I like it, so I guess I'm partial.

Heck yeah, go for it. I'd do it on mine, but I've got a white bike with silver wheels.
Looks Disco to me

I think it looks pretty good. If you like how it looks - do it up! I'm a sucker for red and black color schemes though.

I like it plain black.
I think it looks good (the thinner the better) - especially on G5s. The only important question is, do you like it?
stewartj239 - any pics of your 07 RWB with the white stripes???
I heard red stripes get chicks.
Do it if you dig it. Though, wheel striping is fairly common on GSXRs.![]()
