NEW schemes for 08 fireblade...

pulled these pics from the news section of the honda riders club site.

looks like they had some surplus paint left over from the RWB anniversary VFR's!

TheRWB blade is a genuine anniversary scheme according to the blurb.

also the repsol is a conceptual done by a dealer so not yet a production
scheme.

still they look interesting. im still not sure about the 'roundy, round' overall shape of the new blade?

boy if I could get that RWB one with a V4 and just a very slightly less aggressive posture, I'd be all over it...hmm, I don't know though... It's tempting... I don't know what you boys would do without me if I switched to a CBR, though...

I had a chance to ride a 2008 CBR 1000 for 50 miles through the twistys Sunday and was thoroughly impressed, it really didn't feel like a typical inline and and the torque curve reminded me of a V-twin, as far as sportbikes go, the ergo's really wasn't that bad...

The Repsl looks good, but I am likeing the RWB. But then, if they do that for 09, the RWB probably won't make it to the U.S.

i thought the magnesium colour on the repsol's clutch housing was a nice
touch. stands out compared to the same black item on the RWB.

apparently the RWB is called an 'NBC 1000 RR" (WTF....nuclear,biological & chemical?? huh???).

perhaps it stand for 'New Blade Colour" instead...

apparently all ready out in japan.

NBC = New Bold Color. NBG = New Bold Graphics (this applies to MX)
