Betcha mine's longer than yours...

Average daily roundtrip commute that is.

208 kms or 124.8 miles.

Can you beat that?

Does that include the nights I have to meet the wife and kids "in town" because my doesn't feel like cooking?

90 miles without dinner
~115 with dinner

My ride to work is about 7 miles but the ride home ends up being 40 miles. I guess you could say that I prefer to take "the long way home"

My wife still wonders why it takes so long to get home from work when the weather is nice.

Regards,
Rollin

Fifteen grumpy , reluctant, grudging miles there. Twenty five to forty enjoyable miles home. Wonder how that happens. So yours is longer, but mine is fatter.

Man, you guys make me feel better about my 60 mile (round trip) commute. Thanks!

Symtex - How many miles a year you rack up? Is that mostly on the bike or do you use a cage?

I don't own a bike at this time. Im still looking for the right one. So all those miles are in a cage. Even if I had a bike im sure 99.5% of those would still be in a cage. I have heard statistics that that stretch of road is one of the top 10 deadliest stretches of road in the US. I drive about 45K miles a year.

Ya, I hate myself for clicking this thread too! D#%N catchy titles. My round trip commute is about 75 miles, once again this depends on how nice the afternoon is and how much extra time I have to get home!
