Oh, nice to learn there's another Carmine also working in a Telecom Company. And thank you for considering me "entertaining". Maybe ""Carmine" is a predestined name for "open mind people", I hope. Is this Carmine from....? I ask because my name is a typical name of Southern Italy....
The only thing to do is to ask the "other" Carmine to buy a VFR if he has not one. It would be great !
I agree, life is better when riding a VFR.
Lamps !!!!

Just to update this thread, UK gas prices in July were a record £1.37 p/litre. This is £6.20 for a UK gallon (20 imperial to US 16), which at 2$ per £ is $12.40. Get out of that one, Gordon Brown, and stay fashionable.

As of today, 4 Aug, gas is £1.26 per litre (a UK gallon is 4.54 litres).

A bit ungrateful aren't you.

As the UK is a slight Net exporter of oil you should be happy with the overseas revenue, if it were cheap you'd just use it up yourselves.

That would be a fair comment, except, have you ridden on our roads lately?

There is obviously very little of that money being pumped back into the infrastructure, and what is, is being wasted by cowboy contractors. Not that I'm bitter or anything When you go for a ride you spent have your time watching for the crevices.

Did you know Mad Max was a docudrama except these days the NightRider drives a hoted up golf cart and the MFP ride Black Segways.

I feel the government is trying to kill the middle class. The oil companies, the mortgage companys, and the 'Walmart' style co's.Illegal immigrants, outsourcing manufacturing, and who answers the phone when you call about any utility related problems? It seems we are too expensive for our current(corporate)government. The founding fathers must be rolling in their graves.Just a comment on the price of gas,we are getting f877=5!
