Freeway Bridge Collapse on I-35 in Minneapolis
I am sure most have seen this. It happened at 6:05pm central time. Man, what a mess. They said could be 50+ cars in the water. I hope none of you guys (or your family) were on that bridge when it collapsed. God be with them!

It was all over the new this A.M. They say at least 20 more people missing. Hopefully they find them soon.
Just goes to show you that you shouldn't take anything for granted.

The pic's are just ugly, glad I wasn't in the "cities" yesterday. I go over for work on occasion & have been across that bridge many times. Makes you consider your own mortality for a minute, how one instance completely out of your control can take you out of the game just like that. My prayers go out to the families of the victims & those that are yet unaccounted for.

I have employees who work in Minneapolis, thankfully none of them were impacted (except for their commutes).

Family THere
My brother and law and nephew came down 35 from up north and their departure time put them there at that time. My sister called frantic that they were not answering their phones. IT was 5 hours before we got a call that they were OK. They had made it to the game and where on the bridge at 6pm as they looked at their watches to see how long it was to get to the stadium. The cellls were left in the car and the magnitude of the event was really evident while they were at the game. IT took them lots longer to get back so they didn't call until they were on their way back 35 north. I am sure they are going to get an earfull about having their phones with them in case of an emergency :)
