Mine's pretty un-unique and easy to understand:

VT = Vermont, Viffer = phonetic "VFR".

My other Internet name floating on several car boards is "krazykarguy", it's my hotmail account AND username to a lot of stuff. I am truly crazy about cars, much more so than motorcycles. I thought that the "k's" made it seem like I was nutz.

I think that it's just about winter here, too. High this week is 41...

My username comes from my early attempts of snowboarding.
Constantly ending up with my face in the powder earned me the nick.

I just hope I'll never do the same on the viffer!

I was born the same year (an excellent vintage btw). I started riding bikes in 66, and i am still wondering when I either grow up or get old!

Think positive, and have fun.

I have been dealing with two-stoke bikes for many years, so the sound is the name. It's also one of my license plates.

DashCrasher...

Well I fly DeHaviland Dash-8's for a living, and anyone who's been in one can tell you that even a good landing feels like a crash.....

I do a fair amount of hunting, my favorite firearm, 300 Win Mag, also 300 is a perfect score for the 3-D archery competitions which I also do lots of although now that I just became the proud owner of an "03 VFR I can see that taking a little less of my time..........

Good thread - I'll play...

"Bugxprt" because I'm an entomologist. My specialty is structural pests: termites, beetles, and related insects, but I'll do my best to answer any entomological questions - just PM or email. You can also, if you seek a cure for insomnia, listen to me every other Tuesday on SC Public Radio, webstreamed and archived at yourday.clemson.edu.

I also seem to be one of the older guys on the board. Turning 50 next week. Might take the day off and go for a ride...

Regards,
C
