Olympia Stealth Suit

http://www.olympiamotosports.com/stealth/stealth.htm

I purchased this thing to commute to work. I have my Tourmaster Transition jacket & Caliber pants for cold & this for warm. I paid $270 at the local dealer I frequent that gives a military discount. The next closest thing I can compare this too would be in the neighborhood of $750.

My primary duty uniform is a flight suit. If you hold it up to the light, you can literally see thru it. I am smart enought to realize that just because my flight suit meets the requirements of the AFI & DODI, that it IS NOT proper riding gear. Like I've said in other posts, I was briefed by my superiors that I am to be ABOVE & BEYOND the standard in the AFI & DODI at all times. Getting to the point of being above & beyond has cost me nearly $1000. That's a small price to pay to maintain my reputation if you ask me.

PROS:
easy on/off (it takes like 30 seconds)
comfy (it doesn't feel like I'm wearing riding gear at all)
great air flow (it is not hot wearing this thing at all, I was actually cold wearing it at 58f)
fits me (sizing is spot on what their chart on the website says)
adjustable (the sleeves, the waist & even the legs have 6" of material that can be cut off & hemmed)
armor (knees, elbows, shoulders, hips & back)

CONS:
lightweight (possibly too lightweight)
pockets (only 4 of them & they are poorly placed)
hip armor (it likes to get flipped upside down when you're trying to get in, this is a result of the placement of the leg zippers)
color availability (only silver & grey/yellow)

Conclusion:
This suit is almost as if someone read my mind & made what I was thinking for a summer over suit. Wanna ride to the beach? Throw on your trunks & a t shirt, jump into this suit with your gloves & boots, throw your flip-flops under the seat & off you go. The only thing I would change would be the placement & number of pockets. Considering an Aerostich RoadCrafter is more than double, this thing is up for "Bargain Of The Year" if you ask me.

of course he is a poser, that's what models do!

all kidding aside, though, I'm not sure how safe I'd feel with it just from looking at the pic. It doesn't seem thick enough to me...

A couple of weeks back, I purchased an Olympia Air Glide two piece.
With the liners in, it was good at 30-35 degrees for my 45 minute ride to work.
Stripped out, the pants are great over jeans. The jacket developed a little buzz around 65mph. They are light wieght, and it my first time using mesh. I hope they will last.
The comfort factor, as compared to my Cortec leathers, is night and day with my work clothes underneath = HOT. For just riding to ride, I still wear the leather, with less on underneath.
