Dainese Full Metal Racer Gloves
This is my first review and if I don't totally screw it up I have a couple more items I will post with regards to Givi soft luggage and soon to come hard luggage.
I just got a killer deal on some Dainese full metal racer gloves. I bought a couple of Dainese jackets recently, the Flash jacket similar to the current Bora and the Gladiator. I've been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the jackets and have decided to go with a pair of Dainese gloves. I'm sure most of you know the Full metal racers aren't cheap, but I highly recommend picking up a pair if you have the means. As far as the glove build: Love the weight. They're very light and very solidly built. The titanium plates... well who doesn't want some titanium between the pavement and their skin. I also have a great feel for the controls with these gloves and almost feels like I'm wearing a less armored pair. They're very comfortable, can't tell they have armor at all. Very soft and form fitting cushion on the underside of the protection points. As far as sizing... my hand measures 9.5 CM across the widest point of the knuckles on the palm side and the gloves are a size Large. Maybe... Maybe could go with an X-Large, but I like a tight fit and they are by no means too small. I'm pretty confident that the leather will stretch a little and provide a perfect fit. Some Pics! I apologize for the large images, but I think it's necessary if you're considering dropping $300 on some gloves. ![]() ![]() ![]() Didn't even know this plate was there until I was wearing them for a dew mins. ![]() Nice little surprise for added grip ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by jwnaron; 10-30-2008 at 08:09 PM. |
