Want a new mesh textile jacket for this summer

The guy at my local shop said it's a designer from Joe Rocket that left and basically improved upon the areas he saw lacking in Joe Rocket. I've tried on the Moment of Truth SP textile jacket, fit very nicely, I liked it. $179.

This is for the hottest conditions, so it's going to be less protective.
I own one and wear it. It's better than not wearing a jacket at all. Has shoulder, elbow, and back "pads". It's made well, from the people that 1st brought perf. leather.....

I just went on line and looked at this jacket. Mesh, leather, and CE, all for $99.00 to $109.00! Seems like the perfect solution for the hell days. Thanks for the tip!

Joe Rocket Honda Mesh Motorcycle Jacket :: New Enough, LTD

I bought one of those (in blue) for 50 bucks. Works great. Got to my door in 2 days.

I just removed all the Honda badges.

I don't know what colours you like, but I got the silver one at the bottom of the link. The thing's so cool I can wear it after I stop, and I'm the type that sweats trying to blink. Needless to say, but I really like it.
I have another summer jacket/pant' that I bought for warm riding as opposed to "hot"..... It's cool looking but not as "cool" to wear as the Vanson.

I can't really justify purchasing yet another moto jacket to add to my riding wardrobe, but you've sold me and I'm going to get the Vanson anyway. The mortgage payment can wait, and who needs to eat anyway?

P.S. You think I'd regret getting the black one rather than the silver one (re: heat absorption)?

I have the Olympia Stealth one-piece that I like to wear for all-day trips on slab. Easy on and off, and I can wear shorts and a T under it. I wore it for the ride out to South Dakota. It was a little warmer than I had hoped it would be, but bearable. It did attract and kill an incredible number of insects, though, so I wore it through a thunderstorm on the interstate and they all washed right off! Dried quickly at 80 mph, too!

And, yes, I look just like that guy too when wearing it. Just another added bonus!

Yea.... I like that one piece you have, it looks like a flightsuit(but styled better).
Just me but heat wise, I like the silver. I like black in the winter, but I do everything I can to stay cooler in the summer.

I have both the cbr mesh Joe rocket and the alter ego joe rocket.. The cbr is an ok jacket but if it was me I would add just alittle money to the $200 budget and get the alter ego. With the AE you have both a mesh and a solid jacket in one. SO if around $200 you get two differnt jackets!!

I have the "older" Cortech HRX jacket (there is a new series). It actually came with a water container and straw (like a CamelBak), and does a good job of air circulation with vents open. It also has a zip-in/snap-in liner that works well for cold temps, plus a rear zipper that attaches to my pants (also Cortech).

The only bizarre thing about it is that the forearms are kind of snug with the liner in. Other than that, it has proven to be a versatile year-round jacket.

Interestingly enough, I bought this jacket after my first winter trip on the VFR, because the VFR's airflow caused my older 3/4 length Cortech to "balloon" and lift up, and there was no easy way to add a zipper for pants attachment.

No need. The mesh melts under friction and adheres directly to the former skin areas. It's a self-grafting product. For best results, be sure to get one in your skin color. Isn't modern science a wonder?
