I may be wrong, but I believe that your fellow countryman "winaje" will be attending that event. I thought that he said something about it awhile back, and I believe he has attended it in the past.

I'm deeply jealous! Hope you enjoy your trip. If the weather permits (and it should unless there's a freak cold-snap/snow storm) make sure you do the "Great Alpine Road" from Bright to Bairnsdale over Mount Hotham (or vice versa if you do it on the run home) The police do tend to watch the open stretches (around Omeo from memory) but the road is simply sensational and only lightly trafficked.

I will be there for the three days ... although traveling from Melbourne and staying at a house on the Island.
Have to agree with Quietguy ... the great alpine road is "the best" ... if it fits in with your route :)

Alpine Way - Cooma to Khancoban
Brown Mountain - Bega to Cooma
Clyde Mountain - Batemans Bay to Braidwood
Elliot Way - Khancoban to Kiandra

The Highway Patrol will likely be patroling all popular bike roads, be careful!!

Buy the Australia Motorcycle Atlas, I believe Dymocks ( Welcome to Dymocks Online. More for Booklovers. )stock them. There is a 100 top rides (including the 4 I've mentioned above) section by Peter (The Bear) Thoeming covering every state.
