Yes I got he 02 eliminators from them too, but if you wanted to save money you could just fit the 330 ohm resistors.
    What model is your VFR?

I have a silver 2008 vfr - I was very close to getting the tricolour but for some reason I got the silver one. I'm pretty happy with it but there are a few things I'm hoping the PCIII will fix. smoother throttle response, less flat spots etc. following the pcIII I will try and save for some pipes. I never thought I would say it but I rode the same bike with some micron pipes on the weekend and the extra bit of noise made it more fun t ride. :)

how the PC3 effects the running depends on the map you run.

Before I bought my bike I had decided that I wanted to get a PC3 because of the options it gives you to change the fuelling.
I changed my exhaust because I hate the look of the standard ones, and they are very heavy, 9 Kilos. I am very happy with the Leo vince pipes, I had Staintunes on a previous 02 model and the leos sound better IMO.
The fuelling on my bike in standard form was bad.
It had flatspots, snatchy throttle response and surging. This is all because Honda sets them up so lean to pass emmissions standards.
Now my fuelling is perfect. I have just tried the "accelerator pump" feature on the power commander, and it has improved the throttle response even more.
It is like chalk and cheese to the bike it was.
My advice is to take all the crap off the airbox and ditch the PAIR system when you fit your PC3.
The catalytic convertor is said to be very restrictive, and gains can be achieved by removing that too, or replacing the headers which is a fairly expensive proposition.
I havent done that yet, but its on my wish list.
If you look around on the net, there are plenty of maps around but be carefull because the US model is different to ours (Euro model) and pre 06 they had a different vtec engagement point.
I am happy to share my map if you want, and have a similar setup.

    Thanks for the advice.
I will start with the PCIII and O2 eliminators then play with the other mods. Plus the pipes if I can afford them. Although, to lose 9 kilos I should just go on a diet ;) I'm hoping I will stumble across some in the trading post or similar.

Did you get your map from the Dynotune website? Thanks for the offer - I will see what I end up getting done.
Maybe with the after market pipes I will be able to fit a standard licence plate between the exhausts too. By the looks of your little avatar pic you still have the standard tail end?

My map is from a friend with a similar setup who had his bike dyno'd.
I have modified it slightly since then to improve the bottom end.
If you get one from the website, we get the Euro version.
My rear end has had "serious surgery".
I havent bothered with a fender eliminator because the SA plate wont fit between the pipes.

I was looking specifically at the plastic fender - do you have any bigger pics on this site of your bike?

I am waiting for a GCC hugger to arrive, but it probably wont be here for a week.

Show your interest for the group buy on perthstreetbikes.com, prices were good for PCIII but lacked numbers...

Thanks for the pics dogman. nice looking rear end

I guess you don't need to take pillions very often - although you do lean more than I do. ;)

I had a realization today - I can do whatever I like to improve the look of my bike. But it should all start with removing the 50l Givi hanging off the back.
