  1. Finished My Project

    After a couple months of doing mods to my machine, I finally managed to get it finished this afternoon. Turned out OK.





    Hopfully, I'll find time to ride it this year.

  2. Getting Close

    Yesterday, I spent a few more hours in the garage trying to get stuff buttoned up. Installed the newly wrapped exhaust, installed the new carbon frame cover plates, installed the rear cowl and put the fender elim back where it belongs. Relatively easy day, considering the past few spent in the garage.

  3. Starting the Assembly

    Today I started the process of putting all the bits in contact with the other bits and had a pretty decent day, no problems, everything fit exactly like I had measured and visualized, so that is great....

    Tomorrow it will be just down to the exhaust and rear cowl for now. I'm waiting for Vortex to come good on a sprocket they are making for me...they said 2-3 weeks and it's just getting to the 3 week point, I'm hoping it will ship next week some time and I can finish the chain and ...

  4. Project Update

    Today my VFR project took a great turn towards completion as the rear rotor and dogbone came back from Savannah. The parts are really nice and I can't say enough about the quality of the work, so a huge shout out and thank you to Stan and Jimmy in Savannah, GA.

    Right now, I have everything, except the rear sprocket, to complete the assembly. Tomorrow I will be out in the garage assembling everything I can. Hopefully, Adam at Vortex will come through with my sprocket very soon and ...
