footpegs

has anyone replaced their o.e. pegs with aftermarkets. i seen some from L.P.
and was tempted to try them to see how they look and feel over the originals. but i wasn't sure if the springs on the front footpegs would work with aftermarkets. how about the rears can they be swapped out also?

I replaced the fronts on my 5th Gen with Buell pegs, which are about an inch lower than stock. Had to do a little grinding to get them to fit, but it was an easy swap out (took maybe a half hour). Cost about $30.00 for the pair from a local Harley dealer.

I am looking for aftermarket footpegs also (not the entire rearsets) to replace OE. Cannot find anything on the net for my 2007 6th Gen. I did find some Werkes for 2005:
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...800-Parts.aspx
,Are these or pegs for any other Honda (such as CBR) likely to fit?

The 05 and 07 should take the same pegs, you could check the online parts catalogs and see if they call for the same # or call your Honda dealer if you got a nice parts guy.

I found that CBR 600 F3 or F4 footpegs will work on a Gen 4 if you do some filing....springs work too.
