Thumbs up 3M Scratch Remover for Paint

Even though my VFR had only 5900 miles on it when I bought it, the tank had a lot of swirl marks and light scratches in the clearcoat that really stood out in the sun. I think I am the only person to notice it, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I wanted them gone.

I picked up a bottle of 3M Scratch Remover and used it along with my dual action random orbital polisher (using a white foam polishing pad). I went at it for maybe 3 minutes tops, and I have to say that I am extremely impressed with how well this stuff worked! The tank looks like brand new, with no scratches or swirl marks visible in any light, or at any angle.

I followed it up with 3M Performance Finish, and the paint came out as slick as glass. Someone sat on my bike the other day and touched the tank and said "wow is this paint smooth!" I can't imagine the paint coming out any better using any other product out there.

3M + Detailing Supplies = perfection.

Nothing out there performs better IMHO.
