Condor Lift Sc2000 Motorcycle Chock
These really aren't body accessories but there isn't a catagory for general bike stuff & this is the closest catagory.
![]() http://www.condor-lift.com/index.htm These things make SECURELY loading a bike into a trailer or truck a 30 second job. 2 Minutes if you count attaching the straps to your passenger pegs. They are 10000% better than regular chocks & a bar harness. All you need is two straps per bike although I use 4 just cause I can. Condor makes several models & I use the trailer/truck bed model. There are many companies that make similar products but these are the only ones I've used. I have no doubt the others make quality stuff too. When I get my trailer back (my dad is using it to move furniture) I will mount them back in and take some pics. Pros: ridiculously easy to use (if you can push your bike, you can use them, you roll the bike on, jump off, the bike stays upright, put a ratchet strap on each passenger peg & you're done) ridiculously easy to install (if you can operate a tape measure, pencil & drill, you can install these in 10 minutes) heavy duty (1/4" plate steel) adjustable (takes 5 seconds to change from size to size) collapsable (take 5 seconds) Cons: Give me a minute... These are without a doubt the best money I'ver ever spent for something that doesn't actually have anything to do with riding my bikes. Both the VFR & the Hawk have fallen over in the trailer (luckily only a minor scratch to the VFR & no other visible damage) due to using normal chocks & a bar harness. They are absolutely no question worth TWICE what they cost. I have 2 & got them via Ebay from a local company (Scott Mackey Enterprises is AWESOME), @ $169 each. I mounted mine differently than the direction say since I really don't see any reason to have a quick release mount for them. KC-10 FE out... ![]()
