The cost of new fairings

My beautiful 2003 VFR that I have had one week fell off its stand tonight, some scratches on the left side, I'm sick. Does anyone know how much it would cost to replace it? I am bummed!!!

About $345 for the lower fairing + shipping. I have a scracthed one myself and wonder if it can be repainted to my satisfaction or if I should replace.

I've had my fairings repaired locally at a bike shop here in Southern California. Here is the link: http://www.calcycledesign.com. I was in a wreck on my Yamaha FJ-1100 and the fairing was thrashed. They repaired all of the cracks and scrapes plus repainted the entire one piece fairing for $500.00. It was better than new. You may find someone locally in your home state!

Thanks, I have come to the conclusion that it is not that bad. I will ride it until cold winter sets in then make the repair/replace decision.

What happened? How did it fall? Maybe we all can learn how to prevent a "Fall Over".

It was more bonehead operator than anything else, I just head me head up me arse! There was a section of uneven concrete that prevented the KS from going all the down. I was putting the weight on the stand when it retracted and it was too late, I could not react in time to save it.
I do appreciate the replies, this is an awesome site.
