It would be better to have another set of mirrors that attaches to your stock mirrors. that way the extension is all mirror rather than washers. they make these for cars. probably bikes too. ill buy some if i find them.

its a great idea and a problem i frequently have. i like seeing behind me, not just the sides. its easier to look to see ur sides rather than look to see behind you.

I know a guy that races and turns his whole body to see behind him just like in racing.

Looks like a practical solution. Are they rigid? Maybe you could slip a length of large shrink tubing over each stack of washers, throw some heat to them, and it would provide a more finished look?

check over on vfrd for lobsters mirror extenders. He made them outta acrylic and they work very good. I bought a set and cut them in half and used 1 for both. You really can't tell they're there unless you pay attn. edit to add link http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/i...opic=45517&hl=

Please write me after you test these extra mirrors. I think they confuse me because they will probably use half of the existing mirrors.

They are more suitible for cars, bigger vehicles, but not for motorcycles I think. If you test them anf find useful, please advise me after your test.

Thanks man, I know these but I like using my inventions. I wonder why you cut them. My extenders are 40mm. each but you use only 13mm. Do you think more then 13 is useless?

They were too long. Looked kinda goofy. Still very functional cut in half.
