He hasn't followed through on his promises. He's just a turd on the internet. I'm not his latest victim, there are more and more showing up in the searches. If I lived less than a couple thousand miles away, I'd pay him a visit.

You might want to read each post in the thread and then you will see why that we put a sticky note on it. Make your own assessment.....***COUGH...scam artist....COUGH***

This thread really makes me sad.

Mostly becasue this is when elf800's talents, for lack of a better term, would have come in so handy.

We could have PM'd elf that this guy was an Obama loving liberal that rips off VFRW members and let him at it!

But alas, it was not meant to be. elf was just too unrealiable with his gifts and talents. I hate to see it wasted. elf800 was our G.G. Allen.

I think the concept of karma has some idiosyncrasies that cause it to be more effective if left alone. Meaning, if we try to help it or force it, it is less effective. Thus, less sweet for those of us that were the original victim.
Karma is not the term for what I believe in, but it is synonymous with what I am thinking of. Vengeance is not mine. There are other forces in this world that are far more powerful than I am when it comes to this sort of thing.

The only real sad thing that comes from this is that we become gunshy of trading or loaning or buying and selling to members of our own groups. I guess there has to be a black sheep in every family, theopsmanger is the one in ours. (and others)

I just completed a transaction with a VFRWorld member that was flawless and helps to make up for the bad taste of this one.

It is not cosmetically perfect but very close. It does have a few little scrapes and chips. The side fairings also has a few cracks but can be repaired very easily with plasti weld. I am in the process of titling the bike and am waiting on it to return from the state. I am asking $2200 for the bike but will accept any reasonable offer. Like I said Christmas is here and I do not want to dissapoint my kids. Here is someones chance to get a nice VFR at a low price. I will have pics available tonight. Send me your email and I will send them to you. I will also post a few here.

saw what appears to be a scam by someone? is it the seller?

What's up with the bike 1991 VFR for sale?

as far as any of us can tell, theopsmanager is a scammer. he scammed gatekeeper. he responded a time or two saying he wanted to make things right but then disappeared from our board. We keep this thread around cause he still logs in from time to time and we think that maybe someday he will develop a conscience. Most likely we are wrong by this point, but there is always hope...

just to keep this info on every page, here he is in all his glory: DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY
