Stock seat and red pass seat cowl wanted (1998)

Looking for an stock seat for a 1998 VFR800Fi. Also, a stock passenger seat cowl in red.

I have a used Corbin for trading if anyone is interested.

It would be ideal to find someone in the Phoenix area to make a deal face to face....would be nice to avoid shipping anything around.

thanks

I have a mint stock seat if your interested, just out of curiosity why would you want the stock over the Corbin? As far as your cowl, here is one on ebay...

I'm interested in the seat. LMK what you looking to get from it.

About the Corbin--I find it uncomfortable. I think it's made for an ass bigger than mine or something. It's like the seat is meant to be sat on well back in the main dish of the seat. But I don't sit back there. I like to be snugged up to the tank for the most part. Plus, it's got a mount for a pass backrest but I don't have the backrest. So all I have is the mounting hole in the seat--looks unfinished as-is. AND, the Corbin doesn't fit the bike very snugly. It's like the metal mounting tab on the bottom of the seat pan isn't angled correctly. I'm still investigating. This bike is only a day old to me.

I have a Corbin seat on a different bike that is a good seat for me. But this one I don't like.

Have you considered a "Sargent Saddle?" Lots people on here seem to be much happier with a Sargent than a Corbin. Corbin's are damn hard too.

Ditto on the Sargent, if you can swing approximately $326.00, the Sargent will make you much happier...

They look like nice seats. I'd like to try stock before I throw down $400 for a different seat though.
