WANTED- 8 Spoke Rear Wheel for VFR800

I have a 2005 VFR800A and I'm looking for an 8 Spoke Rear wheel for it. 1990-1994??? Not sure the years, but prefer 5.5" wheel. Thanks!

Hi Jeff, you probably want the wheel from a 3rd gen, which is 90-93. I have one on my red 05 model, looks really good in Gold.

8 spokers were on 90-93. from 94-97 they were 5 spokes that were a little different than the spokes that are on the 98-present bikes.
Good luck finding one, when they pop up, they usually go for +$300.00.

Join the club, everyone wants the 8 spoke wheel. Everytime I find one, people are usually asking north of $300 for them.

4th Gen wheels are 5 spoke & 5" wide.

3rd Gen wheels are 8 spoke & 5.5" wide.

KC-10 FE out...

Your 2005 already has a 5.5 inch wheel.

As Jev said above the eight spoke wheels were from the 90-93 models.

94-97 are five spokes and 5 inch rims.

Oops, sorry about that... Ignore what I said, my gold 8 spoke must have come from a 90-93 model then....

Ive got one. Its been stripped of all paint......I was going to polish it but Im wanting to go with the vfr 800 wheel instead.

Id be willing to trade if your wheel is dead straight.

I bought my 92' because I liked how that wheel looked in the commercial. Best decision I ever made. I love VFR's.

8 spoke

Gold was the 91 model, 5.5" wide.

I had just listed a gold set, both front and back, with rotors and tires, for sale over at VFRD. Wheels straight, rotors straight, tires front fair, rear great.

I have a couple of people looking, but no one has put up money. Interested? PM me ASAP. First person with right $ gets them.

Larry

No, I will not split them now, buy both and sell what you don't want.
