For Sale: Gen 6 Vfr Fork Lowers

I have a set of fork lowers (which are still attached to the uppers) from my VFR wreck. The uppers they are attached to are bent, the right more drastically than the other. The lowers, however, are fine; only some red paint from the front fender is on them. Looking to get $50 for the pair plus shipping. I'm going to throw these on ebay after this post with a BuyitNow of $50. Send me an email and I'll send you the link or you can just search for them.

Hey Dude,

I had an accident last year and have similarly screwed forks, where did you get good replacements?
I'm in the uk and was wondering if theres some parts specialist in the US for such items.
Cheers,

Simon

I got replacements for my bike from a used/salvage parts dealer here in the US. If you use Google USA (google.com) and search "used motorcycle parts" there are multiple dealers state wide the pop up. New a pair of forks are $1100. I also had to replace my lower triple clamp/steering stem.

The steering stem I had to buy new from BikeBandit.com which cost me just under $200. I got my forks from Steve's Cycle Salvage in Tifton, GA. They were $650 for the pair, I believe. Not many other places had them.

Good luck in your pursuit!
