WTB: Parts for '84 VF500F Interceptor

Hey Guys, im hoping some of you can help me locate some parts for the restoration of my dads bike. Im looking for the following parts for now, as im sure the list will grow later once i actually start tearing it down Im sure you all know how it goes lol. These parts must be in working, decent condition and fit a 1984 Honda VF500F Interceptor. Thanks for looking, pm me or reply here if you think you might be able to help me locate any of the following:

1) Interconnecting fuel hardlines that connect to all 4 carbs
2) Rubber wiper boots for the front shocks or another pair of front shock assemblies in good shape
3) All the body fairing fasteners
4) Radiator
5) Fuel pump
6) Fuel pump relay
7) Fuel pump rubber hanger bracket
8) Gastank in the classic red white and blue colors

Maybe this will help:

1) Try fngster on eBay (aka BillyC from the V4HondaBBS.com)
2) Those are just the dust seals, the oil seals are another part that sits inside there. Get ONLY new Honda parts, they are cheap and none of the aftermarket parts are any good.
3) Honda
4) eBay!
5-7) This is an easy one: just get rid of the pump all together. It runs fine without it. I've run my VF's for years without the pump, including the 500's.
8) eBay again!

Thanks Jamie, i will be sure to check out those sources. How come i can do away with the fuel pump on these bikes, is the gravity feed really enough to operate it even at full throttle?

The 1986 VF500F dropped the fuel pump entirely, but the carbs stayed the same. So I'm going to say that's an affirmative.

Excellent, good to know. Thats what makes these sites so useful! Thanks for that information guys. I think i will just do away with the fuel pump system then, sounds like the easier route to take for sure.

Good to know! What kind of condition is your gastank and could you post some pics of the color scheme. I noticed there is actually 2 or 3 different red/white/blue color schemes on these bikes. Thanks!

Don't know were on the island you are but there used to be a tank at Victoria motorcycle salvage that was new .do you have a tank at all or is it rusty beyond repair .Painting them is not that expensive either .
