2006 VFR abs Baltimore 8000 obo

I am trying to sell my Black 2006 vfr abs .I am asking $8000 OBO . It has 5000 miles on it . a small dent in the tank and needs tires . otherwise it is a great bike. ABS brakes and a yellow box to fix the speedo error. also has a 15 tooth front sprocket.
Oil changed every six months

Speedo error? Is that something that occurs with all vfr's or is it just on 6th gereration bike's? how does the "yellow box" fix that error?

Thanks

The speedo on most bikes is wrong . 10% ia about average. you think you are going faster than you are. On the VFR as on many modern bikes the speed pick up is located on the engine sprocket not the wheel. So if you change the gear fron a stock 16 tooth front sprocket to a 15 tooth sprocket .Then the speedo is way off. like going down th eroad at 55 and the speedo read 85.
The answer is a thing called a speedo healer. there are a couple out there . The one I put on the VFR is called a yellow box it will correct the speedo error by taking the signal fron the speedo and converting it to signal that makes the speedo read correctly. Plus the model I got has a little button that will save the top speed recorded.
