'83 VF750F - parting out

Hi,
I am parting out all of the Internal Combustion Engine (I.C.E.) parts because I am making an electric Interceptor. I have radiators, coils, etc. I already listed the carb rack on Ebay - item# 260264434744. Anyone interested, let me know.

'83 VF750F Parting Out

The Title and frame say 1983, It ran when I bought it about a year and a half ago but it was making very nasty upper end noises. It has 24,616 miles on the Odo and no reason to suspect that anything has been changed. I drove it into my garage and never ran it again. I pulled the valve covers and decided that the rear intake cam was wiped. I ordered a clean used cam (which I still have) from Dave Dodge but when I pulled the cam, I decided that there was too much wear on the bearing surfaces in the head so I decided to part it out.

The bottom end is still together, #RC15E-2007285, and the crosshatching looks pretty fresh. I guess the front head is still good and as I said, I have four good cams. The starter is rebuilt, coils, water pump, radiators, etc. I also have an extra upper/front fairing with no windshield - I am keeping the original for the electric bike - I'm going to need all the wind resistance I can get for extended mileage!

Parting Out

Thanks for asking.

What's left of the '83 that I am getting rid of are the cooling tanks and hard pipes, the alternator - (stator and rotor), a seat (image attached) that has tape on it so I assume it is ripped underneath but the pan is good and it is serviceable as is, an extra upper fairing without the windshield, oil pump, transmission and gears - the case is going to the scrap yard. Everything else is needed for the electric conversion.

I also attached a 'before' of the frame ready for electrification. So far, we have converted the tail light to LED to reduce the amount of current consumed. Next is the HID headlight. I am having trouble finding the motor I want for the price I want - (that being free)

Sorry, no mufflers. I do have the pipes and collars but the rear pipes were cut off to remove the mufflers.
