Stay away from exoticsportbike.com

Well I have a bad one. Ordered my fender eliminator and BOS GP-1 pipes for my 6th gen. Recieved my eliminator a week or so later. Two months later, been talking to the distributor for the pipes. Found out today that they have not paid him for the pipes yet. So he is not shipping them to me, they charged me right away and I don't seem to have a copy of the reciept in my email(my fault im sure). So im out 800 bucks since I can't dispute the amount for the pipes since I dont have a document showing how much the exhaust was for that part of the order. I don't understand how they would get me my fender eliminator but not take care of the exhaust. I guess of over the next few days I will try and get ahold of exoticsportbike.com but im sure I will have no chance of that since I could really not before. I don't know who is screwing me, the website or the distributer? Yay im out 800 bucks that I have to pay back to the credit card still. Card is now closed because it's bull that I can't get this fixed with them. Well I guess im done buying stuff for the bike for some time now.

You CAN still get a transaction report from your credit card company. If you don't have the product and they can't produce a tracking number for the shipment then you do have something to go to your credit card company with and dispute the charge.

I bought my Zero Gravit Sport Touring screen from exoticsportbike.com. Everything came in good order and in time, but I definitely did not have any good vibes about them. They lacked some polish, that's for sure. I would certainly try to contact them. It may be just incompentance that is the problem with them. That was my sense.

The credit card company told me without that documentation that they can not disput the amount for the exhaust. They are the ones that told me they can't do anything. If there is two charges they did not say that they can look up the amount for just the exhaust. Atleast they guy I talked to made it sound that way.

Well I sent them a messege through there website letting them know how I feel about all of this. Who knows if they give a damn.

The guy that works for the distribution company says they are done with them. They have had chargebacks every time they try and charge them for whatever they are shipping out since they do not like to charge people until the product is shipped. I really don't know who I can trust. They guy said he can get me some lasers(quad) for 750 when I get my credit back for the bos's gp-1's. Just seems funny to me. I don't get it I guess. Im stressed on top of all this bull that I have to deal with now and I don't want to mess with any of it.

I'm still hopeful you'll hear from them, but I wouldn't suprised if it took a couple of days. Let us know what happens.

As SS stated, Wait for your monthly statement for the charge and go from there. If you did not get your mechandise. The credit company can reimbuse the money. Good luck

I had a similar issue when I bought a faulty radiator for my integra and the guy at Murrys speed and custom told me that I damaged it. I called the cresit card company explained the problem and they disputed the charges for the 3 months it took them to finally give me my money back. There were other items that were on the same bill and the credit card company only disputed the charges for the radiator. I had the receipt but they looked up the transaction and they were a big help. I would call back and try to get another rep from the credit card company

Yeah, It sounds like your CC rep didn't want to fool with it. I'd get another rep at the CC company and put their feet to the fire. They can get your money back if they want to.

This sounds fishy....they have documents, or a record of your transaction/payment! I would be calling them again and again and again until they try and get a restraining order on you....if they still don't help you, contact the better business bureau. You need to file a complaint/dispute form with them....don't just give up on $800.00 bucks!

Wait, who did you pay the money to again?? I don't know if I am understanding this. If you paid the money to someone else, why is a middle person shipping it to you?

Don't waste your time with the distributor or Exotic, and I speak from experience. This is fraud, plain and simple. Treat it as so with your credit card company but I wouldn't wait any longer to do so.

Exotic will contact you once the charge has been reversed and they'll tell you that you need to fill out their "cancellation" form. This is a bunch of BS, DO NOT sign it because they are screwing you to get a 20% re-stocking fee. Leave it to your credit card co. to handle this as fraud and be done with them.

I had a bad feeling from that company when I emailed their sales people asking about the availability of a muffler and they didn't bother responding.

Sorry you're dealing with this headache, but I think the advice already posted is smart. If you bought it with a credit card, you have your credit card company on your side.

This is what my credit card company said. I did not feel like talking to them plus I don't have time so I sent them a messege.

That's a great response! Take you time and work with the system and I'm sure you'll get good results. A lot of banks won't take these types of request through email due to fraud. I think this is a good thing as it protects us all from identity theft and other hassles. Keep at it and good luck!

Chocolate,

The Better Business Bureau is nice, but if you want action taken to look into this company's business practices, document all of this carefully and in detail, then contact the Attorney General's office in the state where this company has its physical address. It may not help you with your $800 (at least in the near term), but it very well could bring big G (Government) into their house. Not a pleasant guest. The big upside is that it will either help these folks learn to do their work better, or it will encourage them to step aside & let more qualified folks do it. It all depends on whether you want to participate in the bigger picture...

Hope you're enjoying falltime Sioux Falls riding weather!

Well after a few times of sending there site emails they got back to me. The last one I sent them was ok, I basically said that I am done,I give up. It sucks, but one last try on fixing this. I said how about this, you guys switch my order to the leo vince pipes. I don't know who to trust, yadda yadda yadda. So to my suprise there sales department sent me an email back a half week later give or take a day. Sorry for inconvenience(spelling). We will change your order to the leo vince pipes. So I will see how this ends up, hopefully it does not start to snow before I get them whenever that will be. So that is the update on that so far anyways. I just hope something shows up in a week or two and I will be happy.

Looks like they are way more interested in keeping your money at this place than keeping you satisfied.
I'm glad you are getting something you want, but if you were set on the other pipes you should have got them or your money back.

I certainly won't be dealing with exoticsportbike after hearing the kind of BS that's going on.

Yeah but I can't get my money back from them without paying some restocking fee or atleast that's what I am assuming. The pipes I wanted are BOS GP-1's and from what I hear are hard to get, so I will just settle for Leo Vince's pipes. Anything is better then stock.
