'83 VF750F for sale
Hey everyone. I have a 1983 VF750F that I need to sell. I've had the bike for a couple of years now, and don't know if I'm going to be able to ride anymore due to health issues. The bike's been sitting for a long time, so it definitely needs some work. It will start and run but dies if you give any throttle. I'm not a wrencher, so I know nothing about bikes.
The good; Full Kerker exhaust (Paint/powder coat is flaking a bit but thats just cosmetic) Decent brakes and tyres Frame and bike in decent shape no major issues cosmetically Clutch and transmission (including dogs)are in decent shape (according to mechanic) All the electrical stuff works New battery The bike DOES run, but it needs work to be ridden The Bad; Cam tensioner chain (According to mechanic)is making a decent amount of noise The bike was painted black, along with the frame (I don't mind but I know this might scare off purists) The bike has been sitting more then it has been ridden, and I never even had the title put into my name, so this might take a little longer unless you don't care about the title. Now, I had a Corbin seat for it, but I had to sell it due to financial issues. The bike has a little over 26k miles on it, and I can't tell you about the previous owners. I bought it from a dealer in MN. I am entertaining offers on the bike. If you need the title, please understand that it could take a couple of weeks and I will need a deposit before I take on the expense. Email me through the system and I will forward my contact info. I can also email pics. Oh yeah, the bike is in Houston (It did'nt get damaged in the hurricane), and will need to be trailered. Due to my health stuff I can't really help out with any more than loading assistance. Thanks guys. |
