We had a swap meet this weekend(car swap meet). We were selling some stuff we had laying around the parts dept. I sold a carb. and thought I would go see what was around that I couldn't do without. My first find was a front pit bull fork stand. Scored it for $20.00 bucks.

Went for another walk later and found a set of CBR wheels. I've been thinking about doing the conversion on my 86 so I asked how much, he said $40.00 bucks for both. Scored again, so I thought. I forgot until I got home that the early CBR wheels are the same width as my originals so going wider and with radials still not an option.

Live and learn I guess.............

If anyone needs some f1 wheels, I gott'em cheap.

Or bought one a them newfangled bigass VFR's. I hear they weigh nearly a ton and two of the cylinders are fake plastic.

D'oh! Hate when that happens.

At least you're only out $40, so it's not a huge loss. You could always put 'em on fleabay or craigslist and see if you get any hits.
