Advice on selling VFR (not an offer, yet)

Any suggestions regarding when to sell (now, next spring) and how much to ask for would be gratefully appreciated. Recent family events require me to sell.

2007, Red-White-Blue VFR800 (excellent condition, 6K miles, never dropped)
Stock ABS system
Stock matching hard bags (some scratches)
Dynojet PCIII
Air-horn Stebel
Zero-gravity touring fairing
Back-off bake light modulator
Factory service manual

VIN: JH2RC46887M900156

Thanks,
-Steve

You will get your best price in the spring. Of course, you have to realize that folks are now buying what you already own for near $8,000 new out of the crate! Seems a lot of dealers still have them available. Good luck selling, but I really hope the family things abate so you can keep it.
