Get your calculator out and add it up, it comes out to $19,000.00 including your trade. That seems a LOT high to me
, but what do I know.![]() |

I don't know the Canadian conversion but it seems way high to me. I bought my 06 off ebay for $7500 out the door price from a dealer, brand new with 15 miles. I would shop around. My insurance runs $572 a year, I'm 37.

Buy in the US!! if enough of us do maybe they will get the message. Honda canada even tries to justify why you should buy canadian on their web site BS ![]() |

Do not do it! this bike is worth no more than $10,000, just paid $12,200 for an '07 anniversary red-white-blue demo in Mtl
plus, you can finance thru Honda an '07 from 1.9% for 24 months, 2.9% /36, 3.9% /48-60 so..... AND 2 years warrenty ! That is why i bought in Canada instead of the States, just financing on a personnal loan at 9-10% would have eaten the difference and more in purchase price.... ![]() 30th anniversary Trans am conv 6sp 2005 Mustang 4.0 5sp coupe Legend lime (sold) 2007 Honda VFR-800AT 1983 Honda CX650-Turbo 2 cyl inj. 1997 Aurora 4.0 V8 250hp Autobahn Last edited by altransam; 10-25-2007 at 06:16 PM. |

Your dealer must be drunk!! After including your trade, I come to 20,300!!!! Are they CRAZY??? I'd buy an older, cheaper one for cash after selling your trade-in bike. Let me recheck my math...
....130 bi-weekly = 130 x 26 = 3380 per year ....3380 x 5 years = 16,900 ....16,900 + 3400 (value of trade in bike) = 20,300 = TOO MUCH!! (about 10G too much.) Did I misfugure? |

It's weird that there are 130 payment of $130 each, but at 4.9%, the present value of that loan is $13,092, taking the time value of money into account i.e., today's value of the future payments discounted at 4.9%.
Add the trade in, and that means you're paying $16,492. If you're buying this in Ontario, your before-tax price is $16,492/1.14 = $14,500. The MSRP of the 2006 is CAN$14,399 for the ABS model. So, you'd be paying more than the MSRP. I wouldn't do that. http://www.honda.ca/MotorcycleEng/Cu...FIA6&year=2006 |
