Vancouver/Island/ Pacific Northwest

Just wondering if anyone is planning another ride before the season is over. I'd definitely be interested. Anyone else?

Ok...not sure where Winthrop is, but I'll check it out. The 14th should work fine for me. I'll check the other post and respond there too.

Winthrop is in Washington state (north cascades) marble mount to Winthrop (hwy 20) is considered Washington's DH #1 approx 650 km return trip from lowermain land route would be sumas (Huntington) boarder crossing.ride down hwy 9 which is a great hwy and then to hwy 20 stop for lunch in Winthrop a real unique western theme town. you do need 2pieces of id (drivers license + birth certificate) or passport for boarder crossing

I am still in. Did you know they had lightning there? I would like to go visit a specific spot at the KOA htere. Brigs back electrifying memories. Would be kinda neat to take a nostalgic picture there. We should try to meet up with some of the PNW guys too. I would like to meet a few of them. I don't think I have ever met a real live American Viffer. Do they speak English?

How about it PNW guys, you in for this?

To do Saturday, I will have to take a day off work. To do this I have to find a someone to be in the "acting" role and we are a bit short of people that way. But if it comes to that and we ride Saturday instead of Sunday, I will still try to make it happen. I recall Kingsley was looking to do an overnighter there a while back. The Cascade loop including Leavenworth may be a thought if we do the overnight thing.

I may be able to make it for Sunday. I can't do a overnighter for sure. Still iffy on Sunday as I'll need to make some alternate arrangements for the kids. I'll keep an ear down to see how this progresses. Would like to get one more ride in down south.

I think if I start hinting to the wife now maybe next summer we can do a overnighter down to St. Helens and continue the volcano tour. What ya think?

Just got back into town, I like the Winthrop idea...the 14th is not great for me. I would prefer the 6th or 7th (if it could work for everyone else).

Sorry Kingsley but 6th or 7th is out for me. I already have a ride with some people at work planned for the 7th and to be gone both days of the weekend would not sit well. I am nearing the end of my week-ends off as well but a week day trip sometimes works for me, and possibly others as well. Did you see that great photo I have of you posted in my photo album?
