There has been some local interest in meeting for rides, it seems sometimes people were missing the postings (Axel) and I thought we would develop a master list of people who wish to be notified.
Whether it's best by PM, Buddy Lists or just by posting in this thread and using the subscribed notification feature to spread the word - I'm not sure (suggestions welcome).
Most of the rides I'm talking about are typically Sat. / Sun., meet for a coffee, ride 2-3 hrs / half day type of thing.
As the weather improves let's look at Baker, Sea-to-Sky, Duffy Lake, etc. who knows - maybe a BBQ or something.
Just a few points:
1) I gathered the names from previous posts of people who had expressed some interest, I have met / spoken to - and a few I plucked off the "find me" map.
2) PLEASE ADD your name on the list if you want to be there
3) REMOVE your name if you would rather not
Please understand I'm not trying to be a organizer hero - just want improve communication. ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!! RIDE SAFE.

Buddy list? 10-4... If you click on a user name, the last selection is add to buddy list. You can use the "quick links" link near the top to access "open buddy list" . Then you can hit pm users then BANG! your work is done. The only issue would be your other buddies who aren't in our neighborhood.
Bryan your plan rocks, great idea!
Thanks, JS didn't know about that will add every one that replies to this thread. for the other buddies out town im sure they wont mind a little more junk mail

...Suns coming out - anyone up for a short ride today - Sat.?
Meet at Wendal's Ft. Langley at 3 PM.
(also testing the "Buddy List")
I cant today. In Seattle for a little longer. When May comes around, I will be in Van quite often.
Thanks for the invite though.
ok ill go, I might be a few minutes late as I will not be back here til 3:
but im only 5 minutes away....
OK sounds Good guys...unless it starts to rain (a few drops in PoCo right now).
Off topic - First snag in the "buddy list" - can only send a PM to 5 at one time.

Sorry Guys, Just got in off the bike minutes ago and it is the wife's birthday so guess I had better stay home or I will be baking pies for a year.
Weather permitting, should we look at next Saturday? Off topic, anyone know where I might find a weatherproof rocker or push button switch to mount on my faring? Heard there may be a place in LLY near the Canadian Tire near 200th. Not really familiar with that area.

Hey 34468 - not sure about the store for your switch. I like to check motovan.com for cdn prices. If it's not too out of line..you can order them at almost any dealer...usually comes in a couple of days.
34468 i know the store and yes they would have many different switches that would work
I think there name is SMI electronics

Kingsley, Thanks for putting the list idea out there and for the pm, I did not get a chance to check it until Sun so I missed out. Look forward to hooking up with you all in the next few months.

Hey guys please add me to your list. I'm a slow fair weather rider but would like to ride with some fellow VFR owners. Probably won't insure the bike until April.
Cheers,
Grant
