picked up my new 06 on the 27th and just finished my first 100kms yesterday
Kap,
Nice pickup
How long did it take too get the bags. (shipping) and what colour bags did you get.
5 days now and waiting but they did say 5 business days. :(
Post a pic when you can would love too see
I ordered the tail rack and plate and a couple of small things from David Silver a few weeks ago. I placed the order on a Thursday afternoon (in Toronto - already night time in the UK), received the conformation email with shipping cost on Friday AM, and the entire shipment was dropped at my door on the Tuesday. very impressive!
I would order from them again without hesitation. are they maybe backordered on something that is causing the delay? maybe it's the rockies <grin>.
John
Black bags. I'll post some pics this weekend when the snow melts and I can roll some stuff out of my very tight garage to get them on. Think it was 10 days, but I'll have to check. (Checked, it was 9 business days<but I didn't pay extra for them to come quicker, which was offered>)

So... the world is white and salted and cold again today! When is this going to end and let us get on the roads consistently? The snow is supposed to repeat right through the Easter weekend.

Hey all! I'm new to this site and looking for guys or girls in the vancouver area to ride with.
Alberta here,Duchess to be exact, just bought an 06 VFR.
Will be at Race City on June28 for superbikes.
Iceman, welcome

Ride Safe / Stay Vertical...
Vancouver here. My buddy and I both have Viffers. I have also noticed a lot more of them around already this season. I would be nice to have a Viffer ride to whistler this summer.
Comox on Vancouver Island. There's a couple other guys here with VFRs but they never stop long enough to talk. Must be too much fun riding!
Forecast this weekend is solid sun... be careful out there folks!
Ride it like you mean it!
hey guys another vancouver viffer here count me in!! (Maple ridge area) whistler squamish ride sounds great
Well seems to me i'am living in the wrong place for viffers, but still proud to own one, any decent stores in Canada for parts on our VFR's i don't mind doing stuff online but its always comin from USA and costs a fortune in tax importation and stuff like that, you guys know what its like here in Quebec for tax!! its unreal, i'am originally from England and been here for 7 years, but am now finding it difficult just to get a deal on anything, any hope out there!!
Innisfil Ont here.
Well thanks for the support but i'll keep searching and if i find anything i'll let you all know, nice ride by the wayi like the underseat exhaust and side cases,i bet they couldn't have been cheap either eh!
we have good weather this weekend so stay out and ride bothers.
Ottawa here, there are no deals in Canada, sad sad sad. I envy those of you riding around Squamish/Whistler in BC, must be fun!
There are some sweet roads around Calabogie and south to Kingston through Sharbot Lake, not many federales either.
I'll be looking for some rides in the next few months.
Charlo, NB...A few years ago I sold my 98 to a guy in Bathurst. I seen one there a couple of weeks ago, could of been my old one. No one was around so I didn't stop to ask. We are a select group! :)
