    VFR World: European 1st Division

    Hello everybody.

    This is just an idea.

    Since we all love this exceptional bike, but unfortunatly we are unable to ride all together because there isn´t a bridge long enough to cross the Atlantic Ocean, why don't we establish the "European 1st Division" of the VFRWorld?

    As you can see on the thread at the end of this post, our numbers are very generous...

    Of course many of us, usually go to our national forums, but why don´t we try to make of this "1st Division", the meeting point for all the European lovers of the VFR?

    Feel free to copy and use the "VFRWorld 1st Division" logo, as your signature.
    It could be cool.

    Have fun...

    It all started in Europe and the Mediterranean

    To the Moderators attention:

    The idea was to create a sub-forum named "VFRWorld European 1st Division" where the European contingent could meet.

    It would be nice if we coud find a direct link in the home page.

    The idea is not to separate. It is to bring people together.

    Enjoy...

    European Vfr Club

    Hi, Citrus,it Would Be A Great Idea.
    But It's Important To Mantain The Feeling And The V4 Spirit With Our Usa Friends Who Gave Us The Opportunity To Open A Larger Point Of View. I Think That All The Vfr Clubs In Europe Are Elite Type And Not So Open As Wfr World Is. What Do You Think About This ?
    And One Thing I'm Sure Of, Many Usa Vfr Guys Have European Origins...so...
    Have A Good Day And A Good Ride On Your Bike.

    This is the only thing with wich I don't agree, but I only know the two portuguese VFR forums. It is my opinion that the VFR forums I know are not of the elite type. They are VFR forums. I don't think that is elite type.

    Of course I agree that is very important to keep together with our american, and the rest of the world, friends, but since we europeans, have our own reality, we could maintain an European Meeting Point, within the VFRWorld forum.

    If I didn't think like this, I would never have adopted the "VFRWorld European 1st Division" logo.

    How to edit your signature:

    - Copy the “VFRWorld European 1st Division logo” to your PC;
    - Go to the Home Page (www.vfrworld.com);
    - Click “My Settings”;
    - Click “Edit Signature”;
    - At the bottom, where it says “Upload Signature Picture”, choose the “Option 2” and click “Find”;
    - Locate the place where you previously saved the logo file on your PC;
    - Double click on the logo file;
    - Click “Preview Signature”
    - If it looks OK, click “Save Signature”

    This should do the trick…

    EDIT: Got it working. You have to click the 'Insert Signature Picture' link next to the 'Your current signature picture' box.

    It's nice to see that more people are embracing the idea...

    I had another idea to give more visibility to the european sub-forum, and I had already expressed it, by PM, to michael, the admin.

    "Another idea was to place a direct link from the home page of the VFRWorld to this sub-forum. If you could use the "VFRWorld European 1st Division logo" as the pointer to the sub-forum, perhaps it could give more visibility to the sub-forum, and more members would join it..."

    For start, this link, could point to: "http://vfrworld.com/forums/europe/".

    What do you think of it?

    Leave your opinions, and don't forget to use the "VFRWorld European 1st Division logo"...

    Have fun...
