Question Cali Emission bollocks

Happy New Year VFR peeps.

Now I don't know if anyone has answered a question involving the removal of all the California emission nonsense that is currently residing on my 98 Interceptor.
I'm not a Californian and have only taken a cursory glance at the canister and pipe but it doesn't look THAT complicated (famous last word)
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

They haven't started checking bikes, yet. And I doubt there will be anyone that could tell if anything, other than the exhaust, is changed or removed. It will probably happen at some point, but for now you could remove it and store it away until needed. I'm just glad I don't have to worry about all that anymore. But then again, you're in the middle of some great roads. I grew up riding 9, Skyline, 1, 17, the list goes on and on. Enjoy!

Thanks Gen.
I'm still running the standard exhaust and air filter so i suppose I could dick about with those two parts for starters.
I'm not looking for more top end or anything I'd just like it to be 'free from hippy interference' like my old VFR was back in Scotland.
And be glad you don't have to put up with the California Kingdom of Clean anymore..I can understand some 6liter pick up truck being made to sort out its emissions but bikes are not putting out enough garbage to warrant all the pipes and charcoal nonsense that they build into them. Still the weather is ace and like you say the roads are soooo nice. Now where's that parts catalog
