Holeshot slip on.....
Just ordered a Holeshot slip on in black satin for my 2000 Yellow VFR. Dale is sending the tag separate so I can attach it if I want or leave it off if I like the look. $302 for UPS three day delivery (I'm taking a trip the BRP, Dragon etc. next Friday). He is also in the process of designing a decibal killer that looks unique. I may get that as what I really want is a bit more sound and dump some of that weight off the right side (as well as clean up the look a bit). I've had his stuff before on a ZRX1100 and liked it and his customer service has always been very good. I'll post an opinion when I have it on. Ride safe.

I got it from Dale in 3 shipping days. I'm just getting at the install today. Info so far is................
-it's very high quality (OEM quality) -it's 6.2 lbs lighter (5.6 Holeshot vs. 11.8 OEM) I'll give you a ride impression later. Ride safe. Never Give Up! |

Just did a 40 mile jaunt through the Irish Hills here in S.E. MI. I like the Holeshot a lot. Better than I expected. It's almost as quiet as stock at idle. There is very little difference. It will be easy to sneak out of my neighborhood at 5AM for work without waking the neighbors. It perks up nicely through the revs, but not obnoxiously so. Just a richer sound. It actually sounds like a fuller, deeper stock exhaust. Dumping that extra weight and moving the cg inboard made a difference with the bikes tendency to lean right when I was completely neutral on the controls.
I really like the pipe and Dale was great to deal with. I think he has five or six mid-pipes left. It seems the can is just a standard street core can. Mine is satin black on my yellow bike. It looks pretty good. Over all, it was a good $302 spent. Ride safe. Mark Never Give Up! PS. I took some pictures, but haven't downloaded them yet. PM me if you want a look. |

I have one on mine as well and really like it.
It has a nice burble a low revs, kinda like a small block V8, and a mean ripping sound in the upper range. Very well made and easy to install. |

I've got one on my SV650, and also like it quite a bit. Same thing; nice and mellow until you get enthusiastic, and then it sounds good without being too loud.
