More thunder???

My '99 came with a V&H SS2R slip-on and it sounds a bit weak to me.
It sounds good at low speeds but over 45 I can hardly hear myself.
Especially with my buddy in front of me on his Bandit 1200s with his holeshot exhaust. Would a Micron give me a little more thunder?

Silence is golden my friend! Too mush noise and the things like Denver's new MC exhaust/noise law happen. Yeah, I know, not much help. I have a two brothers carbon slip-on by the way....perfect amount of noise/silence when I need it. I like just the right amount of noise so I can fall in love with the sound, and sneak thru neighborhoods relatively quietly.

What I'm looking for I think is just a deeper tone, not louder really.
My SV650 had a two bros slip-on and it sounded great.
That TB shure looks nice on your bike too.

I do like the looks of it. I bought it with it on the bike. Too bad that TB has such shitty customer service. I have never heard a positive experience about TB service.

And sadly TB no longer lists a high mount for the gen 5.

Like I read here somewhere... I don't want it too loud,
just want it to sound like my old Firebird!

I talked to a guy with a 2 bros on a 98 the other day. Sounds great sitting still or riding behind him, but on the run he said he could not hear it. So I do not know how loud you have to get to hear it while twiting the throttle.

It just isn't fair. I want to hear it - it's not that I want eveyone else to.
Maybe I'll re-route the whole thing so it exits in front of me like on my sled...
