Another Leo Vince Install (now with LOTS of pictures!!)

Well the time finally came to purchase the Leo Vince Carbon exhaust for the 6th Gen. The whole installation process took about 3 hours and the results were better than I expected. It was quite easy. OK, here's the pics!

Here's the Before picture...

Here's the parts all laid out...

The 2 bolts holding the stock exhaust to the cat were a little rusted in place and felt like they were going to break.

Liquid wrench to the rescue!

See ya!

Broomstick in...

Baffle out...

Those clamps are a PIA!!!

Only needed one spacer on this end.

High and tight...

Done! Oh the sweet, sweet sound!

Wonder where you got those exhausts :)

I leave the rubber OEM Honda mounts in the subframe rather than using the LV aluminum inserts especially with carbon mufflers, you want more damping from the rubber mounts. Then I think there's a spacer missing that fits between the clamp and the subframe, that's what keeps the mufflers spaced apart and away from the tail lights, unless you wanted the look of both mufflers exiting at an angle towards one another?

good stuff SS! i also have the LV system (db killers removed of course). i recently pulled up to my local Honda dealership and a couple mechanics came out of the service area to check out what exactly the bike was. i love that it doesn't sound like every other bike on the road.

Of course I purchased these great pipes from you! A great deal and lightning fast delivery. Ordered on Sunday and received it before the weekend!

I totally agree with the spacer comment. I actually used the leftover spacers to lower the fender eliminator so it wouldn't need to be modified to fit between the pipes. The cans miss the turn signal by about a half inch and haven't melted the lens (yet!)

Hmmm, wonder what one of the stock 6th gen pipes would look/sound like on a 5th gen?
