I need a new pair of gloves and was wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions. I've pretty much worn a pair of Joe Rocket Pit Stop gloves out. They have multiple holes in them. They are my warm weather/summer gloves. I'd like to upgrade to something with a bit more protection, but still comfortable in hot to warm weather. What's a good all-around glove I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,

I have a set of beetle bags for a 99 vfr800. Unfortunately the rear license plate bracket is missing. Corbin has nothing as spares, no help at all, no drawings not dimensions nothing. Sad.

Anyway, if there is anyone out there that has them installed and would be willing to take the rear bracket off and take a close up picture http://www.corbin.com/honda/hvfr98bags_inst1.jpg and then add the dimensions of it so I can build one (length, width, hole position and tube size etc....), I would appreciate it. Just as much details as possible. This is the picture of the install sheet and it is item C in the parts list image. Any help would be appreciate it. I really want to get this installed and need to make one from some kind of dimensions. Thanks

Hey everyone! I know, long time no talk. Been too hot here in Vegas to do much riding, but the weather is going to be letting up soon. I am looking at Soft saddles for my '99 and i like the nelson rigg stuff but after much searching and wandering about i found only one thing. no one ever mentions if they can ride 2 up with a set of soft bags. I am only talking about a day trip up the SoCal coast, but i was concidering picking up a friend. But i have NO idea if i can do that with the bags. Anyone try short rides with a set of bags? Comfort? Id love some input from my fellow Viffers!
Keep The rubber side down everyone!

Anybody have these levers? Any good? I like the look of them and they are inexpensive (which usually means crap). So I thought I would ask if anyone else has tried them

Price 59.99 or less if your local bike shop likes you I got mine for 45.00

I was in my local bike shop and they were pulling out the new gear for Ogio. My salesmen that I was talking to stopped and picked up the new tail bag. It was almost less than have the price or the cortech bag and just as versitile. It also has an attached rain cover so that if your like me it won't get lost or not be with you when you most need it.

Over the pass two weeks I have been using it on trips on the weekend and it has been a real life saver. I have been able to fit three or four days of clothing in now problem and has saved my back from having to have a back pack on when I decide to go on a little ride.

I hope this helps somebody out here and I will have more to say after my vacation in a week I am going to try to fit everything in it for a five day trip. I will let everyone know how it turns out.

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2008 VFR new from the dealer and decided I would have a go at the saddlebag install. It is turning out to be a bigger project than I expected but I have learned alot about my bike, and finally have an excuse to spend hours in my garage.

Anyways, I am having trouble understanding the instructions that came with the bags. My biggest question is where does bracket C go? I also am unclear how to line up bracket a and b through the fender. Any help is greatly appreciated!

btw, you guys have a great site and I have already learned alot just browsing!

Hello VFR riders,

I purchased my yellow 2000 vfr 800fi about 3 months ago and I am thinking about putting running lamps on my bike. I have looked at PIAA lamps at about $325.00 and the Motorlamps that cost about $342.00. What do you think is the better high end look of the lamps? Also, anyone interest in commenting as to where to place the lamps, that is, above the fender or below next to the wheel hub.

Thanks in advance to anyone who might moment.

Ride safe,
