Worked on the VFR for the 1st time today

Hello All! I'm fairly new to VFR's, I've had mine ~2 months now and it's my 1st street bike. I am having a blast with this Bike! I finally got up the nerve to change the oil, oil filter and spark plugs today (~8000 miles on the bike now). I followed the maintenance manual that I downloaded + used information that I gained from the forums here on VFRworld and everything went just fine. I really like working on my own vehicles, I enjoy them more knowing that I can maintain them myself. Thank You VFRworld for your help and thanks for putting up with us Newbies

I also do all my own work. I can't see paying someone to half-ass do the work and scratch my bike in the process! I just finished replacing the frame on my '03 ACE as well as a ton of other parts (was crashed by my dad)! I bought a bike lift table from Harbor Freight. It makes the work a ton easier not having to crawl all over the floor (check my photo gallery for cool picts of the lift). It just feels great screaming down the road on a bike all serviced up by yours truely, doesn't it?
